Her apartment was a wonderful place to stay in the Parc Nationale du Mercantour area of the Alpes-Maritimes. Everything in the apartment was spotless and new, and the apartment was fitted out with everything you could need. Sandrine’s attention to detail is amazing. Breakfast was served in the garden outside in a wonderful setting and included Sandrine’s homemade yoghurt and jam, peach and pear fruit salad, bread and a pain au chocolat (Sandrine’s favourite!!). Sandrine was an absolutely lovely host and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I was disappointed I could not stay longer. Pelasque is about a 10 minute drive from Lantosque, where I had a fantastic dinner at the Lou Gust restaurant (try the grilled chicken with lemon and tandoori).
