My room was big and comfortable, I had tee, coffee and cookies in my room, there was the possibility to store your own food in a fridge. The landlord is so nice and she helped me a lot, I was on a hiking trip without a car and she advised me a beautiful footpath along a canal directly to Bude, which was great. And the breakfast was a highlight, there are at least 6 different options, including a vegetarian and a vegan one to choose from and it was home cooked and huge and very delicious!
