The hostess was friendly and welcoming, and treated us like old friends, yet without being overly familiar or inquisitive.Breakfasts were lovely, with a wide range of choices, freshly baked bread every morning, and hot dishes cooked to our individual preferences. The house had plenty of options for quiet places and privacy, or mingling with other guests, and plenty of activities available such as books, music and puzzles.
